FOR SALE BY OWNER TITLE REQUIRMENTS

Once your order has been submitted, your commitment will be completed in about 3-5 business days. When your commitment is completed, we will send it to you via email along with a list of questions that we need answers to and any documentation needed from you in order to clear title.

Once title has been cleared, we are ready to schedule your closing! You’ll need to make sure that we have the buyer’s contact information as well so that we can confirm the closing details with them.

We will send you statements to review at least 48 hours prior to your closing date (as long as the closing is scheduled within enough time to allow us to do so). When you get your statements, be sure to look them over and call us with any questions that you might have so that we can break everything down for you prior to closing.

On your closing date you will need to bring any information that we asked you to bring to closing along with your SSN or Tax ID if you are selling out of an LLC, Trust, or Estate. We will go over the closing paperwork with both you and the buyer and sign the documentation to close the transaction. Once we receive buyer funds, we will either provide you with a check or wire your closing proceeds to a bank account in the name of the person or entity in title.

After closing, our Post-Closing/Funding Team will work to get any bills that were collected for on the statements paid along with any payoffs/liens that need to be sent out. They also handle recording the deed to put the property into the new buyer’s name.
